Here's what to expect from the recruitment process at RUSH.
Recruitment Flow
A friendly and informal initial chat with our Talent & Culture Partner sets a conversational and informative start for you, and provides us with a further understanding of your interest in the role and alignment to career goals.
A 60 minute interview with one of our team leads and another team member currently in a similar role.
We're keen to learn more about your relevant experience and examples of your work. We'll also provide you with further information on the role and RUSH.
* For software engineering roles, we go straight to skills assessment.
Product, Design and Leadership: This step will simply be sending you a brief - inviting you to present back your thoughts in a final interview.
Software Engineering: This will be a 90 minute online coding exercise with one of our Senior Engineers or Technical Directors. If you're applying for a senior role, we'll also have a second session with a different Engineer to understand how you apply existing knowledge to new areas.
All other roles: This will be a 60-120 minute take-home skills assessment to be completed at your earliest convenience.
As the final step in the process, we'll invite you into the office to see the place, and meet some of the team.
Product, Design and Leadership: You'll be able to present back your challenge response to some of our senior leaders.
Software Engineering: This step will be meeting our Head of Engineering for a high-level discussion around architecture.
All other roles: This will be a final chat to ensure everything aligns with expectations of both parties.
